Intense nose of bramble, dark chocolate, ripe strawberry, black cherry and currant. The flavours follow through on the palate, along with black plum, spice box and a lick of vanilla. The palate is round and voluptuous, with silky tannins and well-integrated acidity. Full-bodied and structured, it can be enjoyed now with backyard BBQ or rack of lamb, but would reward midterm cellaring.
