Interesting and complex on the nose, with aromas of light honey, nectarine and wildflowers. There is a bit of savoury funk, but less volatility than previous vintages had. The palate has richness and complexity; the light honey and nectarine is joined by crisp apple and pink grapefruit elements. The acidity is fairly mild, but there is enough to keep the wine fresh. The hint of viscosity makes this a good choice for baked ham, vegetarian stir-frys and grilled chicken kabobs.
