Bright ruby, with aromas of raspberry, blackberry, anise and plum. The mid-weight palate is balanced more by acidity than tannins, but there’s a touch of mid-palate grippiness. The raspberry and blackberry are joined by a hint of mocha in the mouth. This uncomplicated wine has plenty to offer, including a surprisingly long finish. Give it a light chill and enjoy with steak carpaccio, antipasti or fried calamari with Marinara.
